
Before joining GRIMM, Lisa worked for the Department of Defense. Specifically, she worked for the Defense Digital Service at the Pentagon, and prior to that was appointed by the Obama Administration to several positions within the Office of the Secretary of Defense where she formulated and implemented policies and strategies to improve DoD’s ability to operate in cyberspace and develop the DoD cyberspace workforce. In this capacity she created the “Hack the Pentagon” program – the U.S. Government’s first Bug Bounty and Vulnerability Disclosure program, for which she earned the AFCEA award and several others. She’s well known in the industry for spearheading a number of innovative cyber programs from her time at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), including Plan X, the DoD’s flagship cyberwarfare research and development program. Additionally, she has provided strategic guidance to the Principal Cyber Advisor to the Secretary of Defense, lent civilian oversight for the build-up of the Cyber Mission Force (CMF), accelerated cyber research & development programs throughout the Department of Defense.Congratulations to Lisa from the team at GRIMM!
